Titanium Frames

Also been working on some titanium frames . . . another one of my "loves". . . so thought I would post some pics of those as well . . . some have been built up and others still in the works . . .  the mountain bike with the big fat tires was raced by Steve in the Tuscobia 150 mile race in Wisconsin the other weekend . . . though the bikers had to contend with some snow mobiles.

The frame with no seat is a titanium competition oriented frame geometry with 24" tires
The frame in the Jig is the new FAT bike I'm designing with all bent tubing . .. all frames are Titanium and tig welded U.S.A. made titanium tubing
Currently in the design and testing phase of a titanium seatpost, utilizing Enve Saddle Clamp- though I have an alternative design by Hope Tech that I might incorporate ?-- which has a nice machined finish

24" Titanium Trials Bike

Current Titanium Fat Bike frame in Anvil Jig-- not tacked together yet

below frame built up in Raceday Trim for the Tuscobia 150 mile endurance as raced by Steve McGuire!

this was the above frame completed before it got "dirty"

my Titanium 650b Frame-- closely modeled after a Black Sheep design- I was wanting to practice fabrication with some bent tubing-- and loved the sensuality and strength of the lines  . .after designing my first titanium frame with all straight tubing (for rigidity) on the trials frame below . . .I will be personalizing my own variation on this design with the new fat bike frame currently "in the works" as I have no intention of copying someone elses work-- but this was more for the sake of education and "practice" and the challenge of looking at a picture and seeing how close I could get it : )

Closeup of the very "tricky" yoke that I designed for my trials Bike-- notice the Titanium anodized Crank arm bolts-- crank arm is the new Echo models with "speed hole" machining lines
